Nub received his BA in English from the University of Michigan in 1961. He was founder, CEO and President of GT Products from 1982 to 1998 when the company was sold to Eaton Corporation. Nub has served on the boards of various financial institutions, including Ann Arbor Bank/First of America and First of America Trust Committee, Kalamazoo Corporate Office, as well as several nonprofit organizations. He is currently Director of Gavin Industries and has been Managing Director of Amherst Funds, LLC  Venture Capital and Private Equity Fund since 1998.
