“Changes to your Debit Card!”

May 26, 2016

Thank you for your usage of your Ann Arbor State Bank Debit Card. We know that your Debit Card is an important piece of your relationship with Ann Arbor State Bank and it’s a priority for us to protect your account.

We want to give you advance notice that we are changing the way that you are contacted by our Fraud Center if it appears that a suspicious transaction has occurred.  Effective, June 8th you may receive an automated voice message, text message or email notification that a transaction has occurred that could be fraudulent. When a voice message is left, you will be provided an incident number and instructed to return a phone call to 1-800-417-4592.

Your card activity may be temporarily blocked until you confirm whether or not the transaction is fraudulent. It is an essential part of protecting your account and the bank against losses.

We also offer added protection with our smsGuardian text alert service. Enroll your card to receive a text message when your card is used out of the country, out of state, for over $500 at a time and more. If you would like to learn more about it, contact us at 734-761-1475 or visit our website at:

Thank you for banking with us! We appreciate the opportunity to provide you with the best service and protection available.

Sincerely,

Tim Berry
