David came to Ann Arbor from Flint in 1968, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1973. He earned his MD from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1975. Following his General Surgery training at the University of Michigan Medical Center, he completed his Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Chicago in 1982. As a member of a medical community that contributes significantly to the local economy, I feel that Ann Arbor State Bank is an outstanding opportunity for my colleagues to enjoy personalized banking services designed to help them grow and expand their current roles. As a community bank that recognizes the value of local talent, Ann Arbor State Bank will help to nurture our professional and business customers with the right combination of products, services and technology.

David started his practice at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in 1987 and today serves as Staff Surgeon and Section Head of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Surgery. He is also a partner in the Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery based there.

David, a proud University of Michigan alumnus, chose to return to Ann Arbor to raise his family because of the diversity of ideas and people that the community embraces. His children have attended St. Thomas and Ann Arbor Pioneer High Schools.
