Lee Gorman - Vice-Chairman, Ann Arbor State Bank

Lee Gorman Vice-Chairman, Ann Arbor State Bank

Lee has called Ann Arbor home for over 40 years.  After an early retirement from a career in product development at Ford, she started Barton Consulting Services, which works with local startups and nonprofit organizations to help them focus and prosper.

I’m passionate about seeing the local economy thrive through the creation and growth of small business. Ann Arbor State Bank offers the right combination of expertise, personalized customer service, and focus on the community to help make that happen, and I’m honored to serve as a Director.

Lee is a Planning Commissioner for Ann Arbor Township, and co-chair of the Michigan Energy Forum.  She serves on both the Leadership Council for the Center for Education of Women and the Erb Institute External Advisory Board, and is a Director for New Enterprise Forum.  She is a past treasurer and president of the Greenhills Board of Trustees.

A proud Wolverine (BBA and MBA), Lee also earned a BSME at Lawrence Technological University.  She enjoys mentoring students and entrepreneurs, and has done pro-bono work for several local organizations including Arbor Hospice, Washtenaw United Way, and Michigan Radio.
