Michael Coghlan has spent his entire career in the financial derivatives marketplace. He was Co-Founder and COO of TFM Investment Group, based in Chicago, until Goldman Sachs & Co. acquired the company in 2002.
Being involved in Ann Arbor State Bank is an exciting opportunity to be part of something that will benefit the entire community. The Bank's founders have a longstanding commitment to customer service. This creates an atmosphere where all employees will focus on assisting their customers in the personal manner that only a community bank can provide.
Both Michael, and his wife Suzi, were born and raised in the Ann Arbor area and were happy to return to raise their three daughters. For the last six years, Michael has served on the Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard School Board. He has also served as Coach and Assistant Coach in the school’s basketball program.
Michael is involved in the local venture capital community as well as serving on various Boards in the area. In 2002, he and his wife created the Coghlan Family Foundation to support local charities that focus on children and the community.
