Tom Jacobs has lived in the Jackson Michigan area since 1976. He attended Jackson Christian School from Kindergarten until he graduated in 1991. After high school, Tom attended Albion College and earned a Bachelor's Degree in 1995.
There was never a question if Tom wanted to be in the family manufacturing business, so after college, he worked at Michigan Extruded Aluminum in the Engineering and Sales Department. He then got married to his wife Sheryl and started their family. Tom and Sheryl are raising four sons, the oldest two boys are in High School, one is in middle school and the youngest is in the fourth grade.
In the family business for over twenty years Tom has served as President and CEO of Michigan Extruded Aluminum, Total Source Manufacturing, and MAX Dock Systems. The latter two companies were started on his own. He also holds a patent as an inventor of an aluminum marine product. In 2017 Tom accepted a board position to serve on Royal Ministries Trust Committee to benefit Jackson Christian School. Tom possesses a strong business mind which he uses to lead his companies and employees.
